Tanushree Dutta make hat trick

Even before making her first splash, Femina Miss India 2004 Tanushree Dutta has three films in her kitty. Her latest catch is Pahlaj Nihlani's 'I Love You Boss' to be directed by Deepak Shivdasani. She says, "It's the role of a young, bubbly girl who circumstantially becomes mature very quickly in life. She goes through many phases of life in a short duration of time. It's basically an emotional love story." The balance cast of 'I Love You Boss' is under finalization.
Dutta is also doing 'Chocolate', produced by the never-say-die Spice Team (their first two attempts 'Kaun Hai Jo Sapno Mein Aaya' and 'Shukriya' sank without a trace) of Ragini and Vibha. Besides Dutta, ‘Chocolate’ stars Anil Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Irrfan Khan, Arshad Warsi, Emraan Hashmi and Sushma Reddy. Vivek Agnihotri, who has directed a number of television programs, makes his big screen directorial debut with this film. "I am paired opposite Suniel, but have scenes with all the actors," she informs. While Preetam (of Dhoom fame) has been signed to score the music of 'Chocolate', Spice Girl Emma Bunton will feature in one of the tracks of the film.
Yet another film in Dutta's growing kitty is 'Rokda' starring Ashmit Patel, Ashish Choudhary, Arshad Warsi, Ria Sen and Shamita Shetty. "It's the story of six friends," Dutta reveals. Newcomer Ramesh Kotar directs ‘Rokda’. Atta girl!

Tanushree Dutta lost her cool

Recently Tanushree Dutta lost her cool when she saw one of her scantily-clad photos on an escort agency’s website. A photo of the Bengali actress-wearing a pink net top over a black bikini and a check mini-skirt has been posted on one website.

Without disclosing her name, the site has allegedly labeled Tanushree , claiming that “She is yours for Rs.30000 a night”. The website even lists a number for ‘bookings’. When called on the number, a male voice reported that names are never disclosed but high-quality is assured.
Tanushree says that she is not a random model whose photographs can be downloaded and misused. She also affirmed that she has always strived to keep her reputation clean and conducted herself with utmost integrity in Bollywood. Shocked by the website’s impudence, she has threatened to report this matter to Mumbai’s Cyber Crime Cell. The actor has last been glimpsed in the promos of Priyadarshan’s Bhagam Bhag, slated to release on 22nd December this year.

Tanushree Datta Wordings

SHE gives you an innocent smile and radiates warmth as she walks up to you. She is the current Femina Miss India Universe girl, but Tanushree Dutta is a levelheaded beauty as you immediately find out. “There is success and failure. I believe that after every sunset there is sunrise,” she says disarmingly.

A part of her dreams came true, when she won the prestigious beauty crown earlier this year. However, Tanushree is not the one to rest on her laurels, says the ravishing beauty from Jamshedpur, of her experience in the spotlight, “Mumbai holds a lot of promise for one and all but patience and hard work are a must,” she says. According to her inner beauty and confidence are very important to accentuate physical beauty.

Tanushree has already got some offers from Bollywood but is taking her time to make the right choice. She doesn’t want to be just a “decoration piece”. However, if Bollywood does not satisfy her, she intends to open a chain of restaurants.

To keep herself fit, she works out and also meditates. She is a workaholic and can work for hours without any break. “It doesn’t matter which profession one joins but, one has to be very honest and never forget what type of personality one is”, she opines.

The strengths of the stunner are the quest not only to survive but also excel in the chosen field. “I am not scared of failing in life.” The sparkle in her beautiful eyes substantiates her confidence.

When asked about her negative points, she said candidly, “I wish I could say everything is good about me. But I think I get hyper sometimes for which my friends have to pay a heavy price.”

She gives the credit of her success to her parents, who have been very supportive. “ When I told them that I wanted to go for the Miss India contest, they were really shocked but they could not refuse me because they knew that then I would go on a hunger strike”.

Tanushree Dutta was in the city to crown Nitasha Bhateja, who won the Pond’s Googly Woogly contest. The contest was kicked off on October 6 and women were asked to write about their most beautiful moment. Over 60,000 entries poured in from across the country. Tanushree personally visited Nitasha, who is student of fashion designing, at her home in Sector 18 for the crowning.

Tanushree Dutta sees a child in herself and feels that the inner child never wants to grow up. Giving her advice to kids on Children’s Day, she said they should sustain their innocence. Parents should intervene only if their innocence is being affected by the surrounding factors. “Innocence is definitely a higher quality which should be nurtured along with intelligence,” she says. OC
